Our story: 10,000 miles of hard work and dancing

In the fall of 2013, Martina, Jonny and Johannes, friends and event organizers, fell in love with the idea of putting on events together. So they started Confetti.

The dream? To create a totally awesome tool for people who put on awesome events. But even a 10,000-mile journey starts with a small step: when the trio was about to host the 2014 Nordic.js programming conference, they themselves needed a platform for inviting attendees and selling tickets.

Because the available options were few and far too boring, they built their own creative and stable platform from scratch. And it became both a learning experience and a success; Tickets sold out in no time (without announcing a single speaker!) and thousands queued to the afterparty at the popular Trädgården outdoor club. After that, the three of them have continued to host well-known events like the Internet Cat Video Festival, Hackathon New Zealand and M/S Natten.
